Aztecs Are Alive!

You think the Aztec civilization died out over 500 years ago with the destruction of the grand city of Tenochtitlan? Think again!
...Unbelievable!

The Aztec culture is strong and thriving.
The code of knowledge that has passed from generation to generation, this same information that was used to create the empire of the Toltecs and the great kingdom of teotihuacan is still being transmitted! The wise men who created the Aztec calendar are not dead.

Maybe you will prefer to go to your vacations and look at Aztec ruins, old rocks that give only testimony of the past, but you will be missing out on the tradition that's waking up.

Today dancers still practice their ancient dances, like the flyers of Papantla, probably the best know. But there is a lot more, if you could understand Aztec writing you would clearly find out that such a rich culture could not have forgotten it's roots just like that, we, modern Aztecs, will never give up.

We are tired of people trying to understand ancient mexica culture without asking us, the best way to decipher a culture is by living it. The tenacity of Aztecs is simply amazing, and it's not casual, the education given created strong individuals, on both body and mind, with such tenacity that they were persecuted, hunted down for their knowledge, yet kept it alive.

Aztec sacrifice is controversial within scholars, but if you could only open your mind and understand us, people who practiced such sensitivity as to ask forgiveness to corn when eaten with chile because it was believed it was painful to it would hardly perform such monstrosities. Living sacrifice might have been used, but not in the extent and gore that has been told.

Aztec war was needed, in many ways, not only was it an economical and political issue, but a religious one as well, so let me tell you about ancient past while giving you information that can be useful even today.

The problem is, there are almost no books who explain the way Aztecs view life. Many moons ago I tackled such and ordeal, and tried to explain without the academic jingle what was in our grandparent minds. Because I belong to the mexicaness movement (movimiento de mexicanidad), it was part of my contribution to the movement. There are many of us, some have restored the ancient martial arts, others the spiritual system, many recoverd meditation techniques, one the group of people keep the world most ancient sport alive (pock-ta-pock) there are of course the shamans who guard the tradition of shamanism, the dancers and many others.

So, if you truly want to know the Aztec culture you can start with what is being practiced today!

I have writen a book that talks about Aztlan, what our grandparents suffered to reach Mexico, what they were looking for and what made them keep on going. Their love and respect for word. If you are interested in understanding Aztec writing here is a lot of information that shows the richness of the "childish paintings" as some people say to uncredit such masterpieces. You will understand that even colors in the codex transmitted a message, think of it; a writing that is not of text, but of colors, yet as clear and as powerful as any written word. Even different color combinations would result in a different meaning!

Aztecs, or Mexicas have a wonderful way of understanding their environment, and a respectful relationship with mother earth, you will understand this relationship and why we consider it so important.

This book has wonderful acceptance in Mexico, where the movement of mexicaness is growing day by day, and has helped transform peoples way of thinking and their lives. The ancient prophecies say that the great awakening will occur in 2012, so the movement and it's people are getting very exited.

If you want to know more about this book or want to contact me with any doubt or comment, then click on this link to find out more. You will discover that there is a lot going on in Mexico besides the ancient Aztec ruins, you see, Aztecs are alive! aztecs-never-give-up
